BIO-AFM

Partner 4: Bio Atomic Force Microscopy Laboratory (S. Scheuring)
The team “Bio-AFM-Lab” is specialized in high-resolution and high-speed atomic force microscopy. We perform both AFM-based dynamic imaging and force spectroscopy in physiological buffer at ambient temperature and pressure. Within the LABEX Inform project, we team with the Lecuit group to analyze dynamics and strength of the adhesion properties of E-cadherin clusters on insect hemocytes using dynamic force spectroscopy. We also team with the Marguet group to analyze the assembly and dynamics of lymphocyte activation complexes on the cell membrane.
